Ok, terminator 3... sucked compared to terminator 2, but was still good enough to whet my taste for a fourth film. I can't wait! Too bad arnold wont be in it, but when you think about it, they are fine. The newer movies can use t-101s in basic battle mode, no assination kind of missions, after all, what we have seen in the past never included skin on the battle scenes. It would be fun for a plot twist though, like if we found out that really, in terminator 3... the model 101 was trying to save them because they STARTED the conflict with skynet in their attempt to stop it... and the TX was sent to stop them from continuing the problem on. It might be a bit of explaining, but there is already a ton of scene setting dialog in these movies. That would be cool.

The thread is useless but I have news for people who still think T4 isn't going to be made

Variety reports that James Middleton has returned to Andy Vajna and Mario Kassar's C2 Pictures as senior VP of production. Middleton oversaw the development of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, and will do the same for T4.
