Sean Young
Anybody know how old Sean Young was in BR? I just saw "A Killer Wtihin" on DVD and I'm floored at how beautiful she still is. There is a scene at a pool where she is completely naked and I have to say I think she's a beautiful today as she was in BR. Am I alone on this?

Re: Sean Young
She was only 23 years old when she filmed Blade Runner. Unfortunately she pretty much lost it shortly thereafter, having a nasty lovers dispute with James Woods that revealed her as quite the Fatal Attractionist Psycho. She later proved even loonier when she claimed she was "denied" the role of Catwoman in Batman Returns.
She's still very attractive but sadly has no real film career to speak of and has been relegated to the straight-to-video world. |

Re: Sean Young
I think I remember that now. This was about the same time that a lot of those teen exploitation/coming of age movies came out. Like "The Last American Virgin", "Fast Times at Ridgemont High", "Friday the 13th", "Nightmare on Elm Street", "Paradise", "Zapped", etc.

Re: Sean Young
'Young Doctors in Love' was not a good movie by any standard, but I had a huge crush on Sean Young back then.

Re: Sean Young
I guess the last thing she did of note was her role in Ace Ventura Pet Detective. She helped launch Jim Carrey to superstardom and then disappeared again. She was drop dead gorgeous in that movie as well, even though she was a man.
What a sad turn of events for a very attractive and very talented actress who was always willing to take her top off in a movie! ![]() |

Re: Sean Young
i can't believe that she'll be 50 in 2009!
She had lips to dive for in BladeRunner, and those shoulder-pads she wore were straight out of Dynasty: you'd could land planes on those. pity she did a "Dru" soon after she found fame via BR. But she seems to be back on track with various film projects: ok they're not A-grade but she's doing well for herself at last |

Re: Sean Young
Yes, she's still keeping relatively busy in TV land ,but more as a support actor than headlining.
Apparently during her "lost marbles" period she said of The Bible, "oh yeah, its a great little book!" Still has those "bunny boiler" eyes: don't think I'd feel comfortable in her company unfortunately. |
