Re: New Movie: Pictures
Ehh.....depends on how indepth you want to go with the history.
Yes, the Transformers we all know and love did crash land on earth a million years ago and hibernated until they could be repaired and disguised. HOWEVER it is mentioned in the comics and a few times in the series, the Transformers from both sides made exploration mission to our solar system when it was still in its youth in an attempt to find planets that would most likely developed energon in the future. SkyFire and Starscream where part of the Decepticon unit (Skyfire crashed on a then frozen earth, hooray for the ice-age) and Kosmo, from the Autobots, set up a base for himself and a few others on Mars. Though, personally, that looks more like Blue-Streak than Kosmo to me. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how they explain this one. ~~ Chikana |

Re: New Movie: Pictures
I'm actually kind of interested on the back of that trailer. Michael Bay aside, it looks like they're Battlestar Galactica'ing it.
And I liked tha Citroen ad with the dancing car. ![]() |

Re: New Movie: Pictures
The Autobots left Cybertron around 4 million years ago on a mission to find Energon sources. The Decepticons followed them with the intention of destroying them. They caught up with the Autobot ship and proceeded to board and attack. During the battle the two batteships were caught in Earth's gravity and subsequently crashed, the Autobot's 'Ark' in the side of a mountain in Oregon, and the Decepticon's 'Nemesis' somewhere in South America. (A later addendum to the story during the Beast Wars cartoon, stated the Nemesis first crashed into the Pacific Ocean, was used by Megatron II to try and destroy the Maximals and dormant Autobots and Decepticons before being disabled and crashing again in South America.)
The Autobots and Decepticons were later reactivated by the eruption of the volcano the Ark rested in, in 1984. |

Re: New Movie: Pictures
A technicality
Megatron should have slagged Starscream when he reallized the Autobots were reactivated LOL would have saved him a whole lot of trouble later on LOL |

Slag!
True it is thanks to star scream that the autobots were woken up. It is also thanks to megatron who when killing orion pax, created his own worst enemy. Optimus Prime. If everyone will notice that if megatron had not tricked the arielbots into going into the time machine and then Optimus Prime shotting the time machine at just the right moment, Prime would probably not exist. Thanks Megs! I feel a lot safer knowing your around to save Optimus Prime lol!
