I might see a sequel far off in the future. That is, if they market it right. They need same characters WITH the same voices. They need a new plot, something along the lines of returning Dregs? Humans fighting Dregs on a planet named Bob. I can see the headlines now.

Re: Is there going to be a sequal?

"For Bob!" ? Although I wouldn't mind a sequel, I doubt there will be any. Titan AE did good, but it wouldn't be good enough to qualify for a sequel if you base it with other films like it (in terms of pocketing cash). However, if there is a sequel, I like there to be another enemy (perhaps with the Drej?) and wouldn't mind seeing involvement from the human colonies. Plots could range from the colonies "waring" when they are targetted for invasion to side effects of the planet, and their mission to save "Bob". Good potential to have a sequel, but I doubt it will ever be made. Hopefully it will.

I agree that there should be more involvement from the colonies and a different race. Perhaps a much stronger enemy, forcing the humans and drejs to team up?

Re: Is there going to be a sequal?

Seems to me a sequel might never appear. People didn't appreciate this movie, even though some critics thought it rocked.
Let's say if it DID happen, I'm not sure what the plot would be. One idea I have would be if the survivors from the first film discovered something about the Drej that they didn't know before - that the Drej were created by humans? For their meddling they get a price on their heads and are forced to go on the run, trying to find out more about what's happening and how to put an end to it.
