I would say that we could watch it at my pad then watch the dvd then go location-scouting but I don't have a cool HD setup and Dirty Dave would get mad.

And don't forget the Honey Maids, they were in the can too.

I still say we should set up a portable DVD player at the Dept of water and power (jogging site) and watch it there.

Oh, can you imagine the looks we'd get from passerbys? We'd probably all end up on the local nightly news. That would make a nice momento of our "convention"!

This would make a great human interest story on the local news. Especially if we could get people from across the US to join us. If this were to be picked up by a TV station I bet they would help us access areas like Dutchs hideout and Warner Bros back lot.

I have some free time this weekend. I might take a trip to the Hollywood hills for some location scouting. I will let you guys know if its on.

I don't think we'd get very far. I filmed in that exact spot (for my short film) 2 years ago and right as we left two security goons came by and were checking out the exact spot, etc. We might have to get permission, clearance, etc.

Re: Further evidence of 103 minute version…

I purchased a 16mm trailer reel off of eBay a few weeks ago. The good news: it has approx 6 trailers for OMEGA MAN and is in pretty good shape with absolutely no splices or vinegar smell. The color has gone somewhat pink however. The bad news: no evidence of cut scenes.

I finally had time today to get a few scan samples of the 16 mm trailers. The color has pretty much washed from this one. It's a shame because the film is in really good shape, no splices...

I still dream of cracking a film can and finding the cemetary scene and all kinds of outtakes...oh well...maybe some day.

Great Trailer, let us know if you ever get it transferred to DVD . Charles should have some contacts through his film work.
