Re: Missed SciFi Television

I would love to get Earth: Final Conflict on DVD. The first series was amazing, the second, not so much, but I'd still want it.

Saw it in NZ when I first moved there, fell in love with it.

2. Is anyone watching Jericho? Intriguing to the nth degree and kudos to the fan base for their successful campaign to save said series, makes one wonder if Firefly couldn't have been saved too, or still can be. Waiting for this one on DVD, should have it soon.

I watched Heroes until it had it first brake (to 13th episode or so), it really started to get boring for me. I've seen couple of random "new" episodes, and it seems it has really stepped up. I think it's a very good series, but the grounds that it is based on, such bs, it should be considered more of a fantasy than scifi in my opinion. But I do enjoy watching it, just not enough to go through any extra trouble to see it.

Jericho now this series I love. Sure it had quite a lot of stalling, boring drama episodes, but it really really really has amazing potential to become epic.

I´m actually missing Battlestar Galactica, I have never watched a episode or anything at all.

To add to my canceled before its time collection I picked up the entire series run of a show called Threshold. Like too many great SciFi shows, this one came and went totally off my radar. What a great show, Brent Spiner of STTNG fame, Peter Dinklage - show hooked me from episode one - a worthy companion to my shelf dedicated to the ridiculousness of TV execs (alongside great martyrs like The Lone Gunmen, Firefly, The Dresden Files and Jericho).

Also - Netflixing a series called Kyle XY which is very intriguing (at least 2 discs in) and has me hooked.

Re: Missed SciFi Television

Caught the 1st epsode of Primeval, I liked it cant wait to see more. To go back in time to see animals like the Gorgonopsid would be fun. Some of my favorite pre-historic critters are the "Terror-Birds" of South America, Andrewsarchus, Entelodonts, and Dunkleosteus.

Phorusrhacos

Titanis walleri - lived in North America for a time

Andrewsarchus - possibly the largest land-dwelling carnivorous mammal known.

Entelodons

Dunkleosteus - this looks like something from alien Dunkleosteus Skull

I missed "Odyssey 5"(2002) and "Daybreak"(1993) when they were aired. Were they any good?
