Pilot's Mess [chit-chat zone]

This is the forum to get to know your fellow pilots and the ONLY place to talk about everything else not really relevant to sci-fi movies, including your personal loves and interests. A true pilot doesn't discuss these issues while on duty.

Re: A book idea

Some do survive just none of the main characters. The convoy is not destroyed although with time will be.

We have started writing already but quit for some time now. Demos insists on suspense that is meaningless and neither of us want to start back. Although now I realize suspense is needed just not the suspense he throws in there.... If that made sense...

About this new guy Niggers, lets just ignore him as most of you are doing. I just want to make sure we all know not to acknowledge his ignorant rants that make no sense.

"Nice" - yes. But then it would just be a typical cliched story. There is nothing wrong with having everyone die at the end. It would make for a potentially bleak ending - but no less interesting. And if it's well written, it would be far better than the average pulp cliched story of a group of survivors slowly getting whittled down to the last few - and then a couple survive!
How many times has that story been done????!

Pretty much what Jove said is what i feel. But, i also just like that kind of ending. I mean, would a small group of people really survive such a hellish nightmare with a limited water, food, and ammo supply? No, everyone dying sounds better.
