Re: The book

It's taken almost a month, but I'm half way through the 1,050 page book.

I have learned that the planet was gassed by unmanned aircrafts. Many weapons were used aganist it(atomic, and otherwise), but they only left dents.

I just thought I'd mention it.

Talking Melody, you are in for a treat!

I see you have met the gas drone. You have a lot of great story ahead of you, including one of the slickest corporate take-overs in the galaxy.. but I don't want to spoil it. Keep reading!

The book is LONG. But it keeps you hooked and waiting to see what clever idea Johnny would think of next. I can't wait to see the movie. Though I thought it took to long to come out on vhs.

Once you see the movie you'll be joining the "This Is A Terrible Movie" threads.

The book was fantastic. I had a hard time putting it down. I wish they had made a 4 part mini-series on TV instead of a 2 hour theatrical movie.

Smile glad you like it.

If you're interested in Hubbard's other works, try "Final Blackout." You may not agree with what he appeared to be saying in the book (I didn't), but it's a good (and comparatively short) read all the same.
