Original Movie Poster
When I saw this poster, I never actually thought it was a monster from outer space, being the the image in the poster looks more like a dinosaur body to me. The poster itself is done in the standard 50's style.

Re: Original Movie Poster
Hey, the Parthenon! I guess this thing with sci-fi movies destroying recognizable landmarks (like the Eiffel Tower, Empire State Building, Golden Gate Bridge, Taj Mahal, etc.) didn't just start in the Michael Bay era!
Rules for a happy and long life #346: If any of the following were the happen: meteor in direct path with earth, evil alien invaders, huge tital waves, instant ice age, earthquakes, big Japanese lizards, or anything similar stay away from all recognizable landmarks around the globe... |

Kong, Godzilla, alien invaders, Harryhausen monsters...they're all fun, but of course, we all know who cinema's greatest monster was:

Quote:
I had the pleasure of watching this film a few days ago on Sky. Hadn't seen it in years but it still returned a few shocks and surprises in spite of the b-movie pulp pretence of the film as for the poster: yeah I thought it was some form of genitically modified lizard, or worse, Victoria Beckham first thing in the morning !! And yes you strike a chord in your observation that its always the usual global landmarks that get zeroed back to the stone age in any alien attack. I can understand the aliens taking a pot shot at the Eifel Tower but Big Ben is always ALWAYS dusted. Why can't they pick on Ten Downing Street and do everyone a big favour ![]() |

Surprised that I actually found a movie poster for this, considering it was made for TV. Two years in the making? Yet it's always considered the poor...
