Yeah, but even if the Russian space programme was still going, Russian astronauts were called Cosmonauts, so the title The American Astronaut would still be vague and unimaginitive.

Now to post something actually on topic. The title of this movie is very unfortunate. The movie itself has nothing to do with patriotic feeling or whatever. And this movie could have been easily called “The Astronaut”. It is a story about an astronaut and his friend that experience 3 minutes alone with a strange phenomenon in the orbit of Mars.
A very interesting movie that makes you wonder about the possible nature of alien life. |
