Avatar:

Go to "Edit Profile"

Go to "Edit Options"

Scale down to see the section on Avatars and a button "Change Avatar"... it'll then present a few pages of avatars to choose.

Don't know about advertising other sites. But you can put links to other pages/sites in your sig by doing this: (I've had to put spaces between everything, don't do the same, delete the spaces)

[ URL = http :// whatever the address ] if you want to give the link a title write it here [ / URL ]

Re: Avatar

I always thought that was kind of a rip off. Every other fourm site I have been to has always allowed personal avatars.

Re: Avatar

Correct. Actually I think that is a good thing, othwise it would be an even bigger waste of space. Some fourms even have limitations on how big your signiture can be. I think that is also a good idea. And so I am not contadicting myself, I know my sig is a bit big but I plan to change it when my stuff arrives.

That would be a good avatar and sig combination. Good film, too.

Kind of rip off?

there's no two way's about it, it is a rip off...... 500 for custom, seems more reasonable, and 0 for custom, sounds brilliant.......and normal, I could be the pinnacle of sci-fi-e-ness...
If I only had a thousand posts.............

also..... Flood control should be disabled..... bloody stupid idea.....
it makes trying to reply in certain threads before other people........ Basterds

and don't expect that to be anytime soon....... he's been gone over a year, and the only person who knows how to contact him has left......

.... anyway, the first thing to be sorted out when he get's back is a few Ban's, the super mods, getting rid of some dead weight mods....
i.e
greenknight,!nightblade! and eidolon....

especially eidolon.... who although she turns up, never does her job properly..... i got flamed, reported it, and she did nothing, Because it was against her personal belifes.......

Note to Eidolon:
Personal belifes have nothing to do with it....as a mod, it is your duty to uphold the rules of this forum, which you have failed to do on numerous occasions.... you cannot pick and choose, and if it were in my power, as soon as you failed to uphold a rule, you'd be de-modded.. you do not deserve the privlage...

Re: Avatar

Can the person in charge...Ramses is it? Well could you add Leeloo Minai Lekatariba Lamina-Tchai Ekbat De Sebat from The Fifth Element to the choice of Avatars? There's Ruby and the Diva there already. Well, it was just a suggestion...
