Re: help!

Isn't NORAD around there? I may be confusing this with another place, but I could have sworn that NORAD was in the Cheyenne Mnts.

But as to the movie, very good movie. One of those "I could watch this every week" movies.

Re: help!

Actually, in the movie, the stargate was at Creek Mountain, not Cheyenne Mountain. However, there is no Creek Mountain military in reality. So between the movie and the SG-1 series, there are three possibilities at the name difference.

1. The gate was moved from Creek to Cheyenne during the two year interval.
2. The SG-1/Atlantis continuity states that the gate was always at Cheyenne, so it's a retcon.
3. They simply changed Creek to Cheyenne.

The latter is most the case since the facility itself is virtually identical.

The entrance used in the film was used previously in WarGames as another entrance to Cheyenne Mountain.
