Definite Remake In The Works

Confirmed, apparently no material from the 70's is sacred in the age of remakes. Director - Bryan Singer of X-Men and The Usual Suspects fame.

Agreed. Still, if it's done is a sort of humor/retrospect way (like the Brady Bunch movies), it could at least be good for a laugh or two.

If they stick to the story in the book, it woun't be a remake.
