Re: Taco Bell VS Pizza Hut

Recently I have bought the Demolition DVD, but I found something strange about the DVD. Every Taco Bell sign, spoken lines and subtitles are replaced by Pizza Hut!!! You can still see that it was Taco Bell first, because it isn't lipsync. Can anybody tell me why they have done this????

Here's how it goes...

you see, it is all just a plot to take the slightly benefited (financially) masses of the world (and you have to be if you saw this movie) and turn them against Taco Bell, which is replaced by pizza hut. It is also a metaphor for the Italian world domination, starting with a popular "mexican food" restaurant chain, Then the universe.

Simple: Taco Bell did not find it worth its while and withdrew from the project, and Pizza hut stepped in and claimed the on-screen advertising.

Taco Bell could have also filed a lawsuit and told them to take their name out of the movie. Then Taco Bell saw the obvious opportunity to capitalize because of it and took their place.

Sued? nonsence! then why did they pay for the product placement in the first place? I say that TB just didnt want to renew the contract after it had lapsed, and PH stepped in.

Taco Bell and Pizza Hut are owned by the same corperation im pretty sure (which also owns Pepsi Cola and Frito Lay). Not sure why they did that though. Maybe they thought Pizza Hut would be more marketable in todays times.

Taco Bell and Pizza Hut are owned by the same company, though.

Sometimes they even share the same restaurant, which is really ghetto.

Not if you're a fat pig, like me. Then it's a marvel of fast food technology. Have you seen the ones that are Pizza Hut, Taco Bell AND KFC!? Heaven on earth.
