Re: How big SF fan you are?
It's nice to know I'm not the only person alive who has seen Enemy Mine. Nexus_6 makes the seventh person whose said they've seen it....not on the site, but people in general.
I haven't see ALL the movies listed here, but I've seen (from the list) Atlantis; the Lost Empire Bicentennial Man Contact E.T; the Extra Terrestrial Enemy Mine Fahrenheit 451 (great book, by the way) Howard the Duck Independence Day Jurassic Park Jurassic Park II; The Lost World The Last Starfighter Mars Attacks! The Matrix Men in Black Men in Black II Mom and Dad Save the World Moonraker Planet of the Apes (the original) Space Cowboys Spaceballs Star Trek; Insurrection Star Wars: Episode I, II, IV, V, and VI Transformer; The Movie X-Men; The Movie and, I've seen movies of which the MST3K group was making fun. The Molemen The Phantom Planet Squirm...though that might be horror. Invasion of the Neptune Men Prince of Space The Pumaman Time Chasers The Giant Spider Invasion IT Lives by Night aka "Bat People" Soul Taker Future War This Island Earth (the MST3K one and the real film) and a few more. |

Using simple proportion calculation I guess I saw around 80% of movies listed here.
PS: Enemy Mine is a good movie. |

Re: How big SF fan you are?
I'm actually into Sci-Fi, but not too into into it. Some movies I saw just because you people mentioned them. I was disapointed by some, thrilled with others.
P.s Science fiction is by far the most underated genre. People don't generally look at them the way they're supposed to be looked at. |

Re: How big SF fan you are?
Hey!! ^-^ I was just wondering, what exactly is Sci-Fi? I mean, I know what Fantasy is, and Anime is a given ^-^, but how do you know when you're watching a Sci-Fi movie and when you're watching Horror or Adventure or Action? What's the diff.?

Re: How big SF fan you are?
Alot of movies have a mixed genre. Men in black for instance is comedy/scifi. Movies involing tecnologys we dont have, aleins, space, the future, are mostly scifi.

Re: How big SF fan you are?
That sounds like a good idea...
I have seen a lot of the movies on this site, but there are also a few I haven't seen. I'd really like to see Dark City. I heard it's very good. Last edited by Drone : Apr 22, 2004 at 07:54 PM. |
