the greatest

I want to make a poll, a poll that scoffs at perfection. I want it to be better than the very subject matter that it pertains to! Give me your suggestions for the best musical artist or band or maker of music in general, or what ever, of all time. In all of existance, in all of recorded history, who is the greatest? give me some veriety! Spanning from bach, to the beatles, to the beastie boys, suggest away, and we shal truely have the best poll on the subject of the best band that there shal ever be!

"Oasis" is a great band, but most of you won't know them, but if you did you probably wouldn't like them. They don't seem to appeal to Americans really.
