In other words, it will add to the DVD universe, rather than divide it as in the Beta/VHS debacle.

But all our current DVDs will be inferior to what's out there. Might as well wait for the new issue to build my collection.(Or should I wait for the crystal that will replace these?)

Dammit!!! There's a box set?!? I've been trying to collect them all individually, and am having no luck with Jackie Brown. And now I find out I could have jsut got them all in one box?!

Isn't DivX wonderfull? I have over 30 DVDs and about 70 CDs full of Anime...Thank you DivX.

Yeap, there is, I think it came out just before christmas. There also seems to be a boxset just like the one I discriped, but without Pulp Fiction.

Re: Updated DVD list.

"The Transporter" and "To Kill a King" are the only movies I bought out of those that I haven't watched before.

"To Kill a King" seemed to me an obvious choice, as I am fascinated by the ambiguous figure of Cromwell. Not even the English appear to be able to tell me clearly if he was a villain or a hero.

As for "The Transporter", I remember Sith liked it, and a few other members here commented on it as well, so hey, it was a 7€ chance.

As for the rest, it's plugging the holes in my collection.

Also, "Blue Thunder" is not only a great movie (and Malcolm McDowell a great villain).

It also has the best DVD cover I can remember.

Re: Updated DVD list.

I loved the music when hes watching the pilot land safely while Malcolm sneakes up on him. Great helecopter chase. Sadly it was Warren's (his police chief) last film

Malcolm Mcdowell was in a good film I watched recently called Ill Sleep When Im Dead and he had a corvette in that too.

Re: Updated DVD list.

I think we can just agree that the guy is a great actor.

He even managed to turn a terrible movie like "Star Trek: Generations" into something mildly watchable.
