This is the forum to get to know your fellow pilots and the ONLY place to talk about everything else not really relevant to sci-fi movies, including your personal loves and interests. A true pilot doesn't discuss these issues while on duty.

Re: Guitar Gods

According to your "poll", all you'd have to do is hand someone a guitar and call them a "god."

Re: Guitar Gods

God's??? You call these people guitar players? Need to learn. THere are many skilled players that don't get any recognition for their virtuousoty. Mate, I doubt you really know how these people even put ON a guitar or pour a cup of tea, let alone play their instrument.

Re: Guitar Gods

The fact that there are many skilled guitarists out there that have no recognition I agree with. But you dare question the ability of people like Brian May and Jimmy Page ? You need help my friend.

I cant believe that Yngwie Malmsteen hasn't even been mentioned. He would rank quite high in my top ten, he is amazing, arpeggios from hell! Very fast, suggested download " Blitzkrieg "

Re: Guitar Gods

I loathe guitar magazines, most of them names are always in them, fret burners or stunt guitarists is what they're called..its not good for the idea of playing the instrument, which is too old fashioned now...you want originality more than anything - they all sound the same!
