Cool Re: 3D Model of the Gunstar

Greetings, Starfighters.

You have been recruited to provided high-rez images of the Gunstar...

heh heh

Cool opening there...

Anyways...

I am working on a 3D model of the Gunstar in Lightwave.

The progress can be seen at http://www.3dgladiators.com/forums/u...ML/000288.html

What I need is more referrence images from the movie, high rez if possible. I need shots of the rear especially.

If anyone has scans or screen caps, please let me know.

Thanks.

P.S.- Feel free to follow along in the Work In Progress thread of the building of this awesome ship

Thumbs up Gunstar Photos

If you still need them I have some really good B&W photos from the LSF press kit that may help you.

I e-mail them to you.

Re: 3D Model of the Gunstar

Lightwave is a CG (Computer Graphics) producing program, what they use to do all the computer generated effects in Star Trek:the next generation,Deep Space 9,Voyager,early babylon 5 before they switched to Deck alpha's or Silicon Graphics workstations and a number of other films and tv shows.
Lightwave costs about $2500 - $3000 and the latest version of the program is version 6.

Boy.... tossing out that it's a warez (pirated) copy is pretty heavy of you there.

Too bad it's not. Maybe some of us *can* afford it.
