Comic Book Movies

Boy, this genre sure did explode once the money started rolling in from these movies. Are you guys fans or would you rather have a trip to the local comic book store once a month?

Re: Comic Book Movies

I've never been a Marvel Comics reader, and have only become a fan of the MCU versions. I also liked the Raimi's Spider-Man, the X-Men movies (except First Class, hated that one) and even enjoyed the FF films.

DC has always been my domain, however, I've only found that the Burton Batman films, and Donner's Superman truly feeling like they came from the comics. The latest films just haven't been my cup of tea, from Nolan's Batman to Snyder's Man of Steel. And the one comic I regularly read, Green Lantern had a horrible entrance onto the film scene.

And DC's upcoming film entries look just as bad as Man of Steel. Cinematically, I'll be sticking with Marvel.

No way, Nolan's Batman films are excellent and are based on my all time favorite version which is Denny O'Neil's 70s version especially the way Gotham is portrayed like in O'Neil's stories. Burton's first movie is good but the second was terrible as it was just a Burton film gone wrong.

What makes Marvel Studios better than DC? tell me? even the licensed products?
