Something I didn't know..

I never knew, up until last Saturday, that Crispin Glover wasn't in the sequels to "Back to the Future". He didn't want to be in them, so they got a look alike, and put some prosthetics on him to make him look like Glover, and that was that. Glover then sued Steven Speilberg for some odd reason, something to do with using his likeness.

I read that on the bttf website, i couldnt understand how some one could sue after agreeing to play a part! It makes no sense, its like a starship trooper sueing because hes not a space marine.

That sort of image use was the basis of the lawsuit around those two puppets that looked like those two guys from CHEERS.

I think the Glover claim about BTTF related to some promoralzing or somesuch. Not too clear on the memory.

Re: Something I didn't know..

the reason that he wasnt in the suequel was because he wanted more money then he was worth. the only reason the alternative 1985 was made was because tyhen they could kill of his character for most of the film

I had no idea about that either, wow. He's a good actor, though, that Crispin Glover.

Yeah, that's where the "George McFly Murdered" idea came from. He is obviously not in the second film at all - the 1955 scenes were just footage from the first film anyway. It's only in the third one you actually see the George McFly character, but it's not Glover.
