What the hell are you talking about? Freddy Vs Jason was an AWESOME movie! Sure it had a bit of bad acting *coughloricough* but the majority of the characters were great! I was a bit pissed off that Kane Hodder wasn't in it, but the guy who replaced him was pretty good too. THis movie had everything a good horror movie needs. Lots of Gore, cool monsters and enough nudity to please a group of pre teen boys.
I hope AvP does at least half as good as FvJ

Re: not worth making

It starts off with Freddy telling his story. Then he says "I found someone!" and it shows Jason.

I enjoyed Freddy vs. Jason.
I will buy it later on.
I'm looking forward to Alien vs. Predator; I just hope that P. Anderson does well with it.

I just hope that it doesnt turn out like resident evil. Anderson's
a horrible director he takes a good plot and turns it to sh!t.

He will probably do the same to AvP.

A good horror film dispenses with 2 of these 3 things.

I'll leave you to guess which.

Actually, teen nudity (although always fun) is sign enough of a bad horror film.

As soon as i heard the bollocks pyramid plotline i just thought there no way it could be remotely decent. In addition the special effects guys from the last 2 alien films are doing it and they make arse monsters. nothing like the orginal elongated elegant beastie from the original. did you see resurrection? playstation aliens?

The plotline is boring now (chased down tunnels etc). for me the reason the original alien was so amazing at the time was because it gave two totally unique realised worlds in ridleys dirty future and gigers mentalism. I don`t see how a pyramid in the arctic is going to egg****e me. and the creatures themselves are boring now....and given that they`ll make it a U rating so more people can see it [and make more money] it will not even entertain on a slasher horror level.

paul anderson should be placed in one of those superman 2 prisms and launched off somewhere deep spacey methinks.

I've been waiting for this movie ever since I saw that Alien skull in the predator space craft in Predator 2. I look forward to seeing this movie. I like the story I just hope this isn't a CGI fest.

Examining the general trend of films over the past few years/ months, even, I think it's likely it may be heavily CG battle-oriented. I'm really hoping AvP will actually have a plot to it and that Anderson will draw upon past threads as opposed to conjuring some crud up out of nowhere.

90% of the movie is suppose to be live-action and 10% CGI.

If Paul Anderson fu*ks this movie up, my beloved Predator movies, I will just lose that much more respect for him.

I saw a sneak peek on the dvd of stuck on you and they showed you the full size puppet of one of the aliens and the mechanics for the predators face so it had more expressions they also showed you the masks the preds are going to be wearing.
