Re: So..

You're right on target, as it was a completely underwhelming movie. Poorly written, with great effects. Shame for the effects to be surrounded with such underachievement, dont you think?

Re: So..

wasn't even half the fun of equlibrium I was expecting. And totally, those special effects on the rooftop with the glasses reflection thing was awesome, trippy and totally original... damn waste ><

Re: So..

Ultraviolet just shows what I've been saying from day one about equilibrium,( a movie by the same director). It was an action movie with huge plotholes, not very well thought out concepts and ideas. Some may think there is an inteligent story behind but that is not true. Action is cool, story is superficial.

Ultraviolet is so cliche that it reminds me of Uwe Boll movies. Cheap emotions, just like Equilibrium.

Re: So..

How can you not? It is the work of the same director, with same artistic views and same opinions.

The point is, Equilibrium just looks like a good movie at a glance, but when you look beneath the surface you will find a very weak plot, the same is With Ultraviolet only this time movie doesn't even look good at a glance. It is a straight out failure.

Re: So..

I was so dissapointed in Ultraviolet. In the top three of my worst movies of all time. Only third because Milla was in it xD And even then, her character was depressing.

Re: So..

Equilibrium wasn't exactly pretending to be a good movie. It's meant to be silly fun, and it succeeds.

Or at least, I hope to God that was what it was meant to be.
