According to our friends at IGN Movies – via The Sun newspaper – the next James Bond movie will have its roots in the Ian Fleming short story, “Risico”.
"Bosses were so pleased with how well Casino Royale has been received that work has already commenced on Risico at Pinewood Studios," claimed a source for the British tabloid. "Some of the same characters will crop up again. But one of the main aspects will be to develop Bond's complex personality."
As the abovementioned site states, the problem here lies in the fact that most of “Risico” story was used for the Bond film “For Your Eyes Only”. Then again, is it a problem? Maybe this time the producers will decide to take that oh-heavenly-gamble of actually sticking close to the source material and not going too far off the page? Could work.
The new film is expected to carry on from the events of “Royale”, with both Daniel Craig and Eva Green (albeit briefly) returning to the fold.
