Re: Kurt Russel's Only Good film?

Tequila Sunrise was a 10

Backdraft was a 10

Big Trouble in Little China was cult favorite 10

Escape from New York was a 7

Executive Decision was a 10

Stargate was a 7

Tombstone was a 10

plus he's had many other good movies. But I think that "The Thing" might be the best movie he was in, but his best work was in "Backdraft". Still pisses me off that he died in that.

Big Trouble in little China RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Acutally, I think his best film was Tombstone. That movie just plain rocked. I have actually liked almost every movie he's been in except for 3000 miles to las vegas. I didn't care for that one at all.

Call him Snake!

Big Trouble In Little China is not THAT great. His character was his worse role.

EFNY is his best.

Yes, Jack Burton would be a great name for a kid. He'd be the envy of the neighborhood

Re: Kurt Russel's Only Good film?

Hey, I found something interesting the other day while I was watching this on VHS. There are two different songs that are played on nauls's radio. On the VHS it's some song I don't know the name of, on the DVD it's Superstitious by Stevie Wonder. Has anyone else noticed this, or am I just too involved,

Hi,
I liked him in Stargate. He played Jack O'Neill. You probably already know that anyway. He played the character in a much different way than Richard Dean Anderson. Russell's O'Neill seemed hard as nails compared to Richard's interpretation.

Probably because he's gay. That and I think that he wanted to bring a different personality to the character that you saw at the end of the film.

I think Escape From New York is the best Kurt Russel film. Second would be The Thing. And Big Trouble in China Town is good too.
