The Map

A simple question of a simple movie... How were they reading the map?

The wrong way, until near the end

That answers it.

The symbols on the map were probably co-ordinates (they were reading it upside down until up until the end). They must have used the stars or the sun to figure out where they were going (at one point the Nord guy was reading a regular map inside the Deez, so they must have made new maps based on the stars or something). That's the only thing I could think of right now.

I appoligize if this post is a bit incoherent. Damn McGuinness Melons o_O 15% stuff should NOT taste like kool-aid!

Somehow I'm glad that the Mariner didn't drink alcohol there. Otherwise he would be still reading the map in a wrong way and sailing endlessly - the longest movie in Costner's history...

I must watch this again to find out if they were reading stars...

You'd do that for us? You would endure this film again for our sake? I think I might just start to cry....

Oh, don't cry. Be brave, so I'll be that too.
