Anyone thinks Avatar and The Matrix are alike almost?

Both are excellent if unoriginal works of Sci-fi.

The Matrix is just basically anime, Ghost in The Shell, Akira, Blade Runner, 2001, Star Trek, the Bible, Buddist philosphy,

Avatar is like old westerns, Total Recall, the story of Pocahontas, a little Star Wars, etc.

Yet though both are derivative they work out well and why they both got good reviews and excellent box-office returns.

The Matrix is the next Blade Runner while Avatar is the next Star Wars.

Yup- they're both troperiffic to the extreme. Doesn't have to be a bad thing, but in this case, it probably is.
You actually missed the most obvious sources though. Dances With Wolves for Avatar and cyberpunk fiction (especially the work of William Gibson) in general for The Matrix.

Unlike Bladerunner however, the Matrix already feels very dated. So no.
This could have something to do with the fact that unlike The Matrix, Bladerunner isn't a third-rate bare-arsed string of tropes. It is a wonderfully done space noir. It did it's thing about as well as it could be done. That's why it's still as awesome as it was the day it came out. Maybe The Matrix is your next Bladerunner. But it is by no means the next Bladerunner. It is no more the next Bladerunner than Urotsukidōji is the next Seven Samurai.
