Wrong Demographic?

Does anyone else think this should have been (and marketed as such) a kids film - rather than an adventure film?

It's just so...ridiculously simple. Indiana would die of shame.

I agree, I'd have really gone for this film as a kid.

Mind you, I really went for Mac and Me as a kid, so I think that proves nothing.

So did I and now all I can remember is a buggy and blatant Coca Cola placement.

Ialmost want to find an old VHS of it for old times' sake ... almost but not quite.

I wonder what kids who saw this actually did think of it? It's easy to grasp, has plenty of thrlls and spills and looks creative enough to be accessible by them.
