Hmmm. It would be really cool if somebody would edit a clip that contains these both and put in on the net.

I say 'meh'. It was decent, my and my friend tried it right when the title card flashed on, perfect timing...and well it fit decently, but it wasn't synched well. If it was that guitar towards the end would of built up to something better...like the glass breaking or something...its just moody and fits with the stargate somewhat. Was worth trying once, though.

Thumbs up Re: Jupiter and Beyond the Infinate

I've watched it. And let me say that it was floydtastic!!!

Of course, it's not as good as The Wizard Of Oz one. But like TWOO, the synchronization was perfect. I thought it made the ending better!

Smile Wow!

I love the movie 2001! I love the song Echos! Is it really true that 2 of my most influential pieces of art can actually be combined to make one? Unfortuantly, I don't own the movie 2001 and I was wondering if I can get a little insight on how they intertwine.

Which part is happening in the movie when the instruments stop and you hear the wind and the crows start up in echos?

Isn't Echos longer than the scene or does it run into the credits?

What part of the song is played when the ship lands into the hotel room?

Thank you to anybody who can help.

Who cares?

Who cares? That whole sequence shouldn't've been there anyway. It's like they put a kaleidoscope in front of the camera, show some badly-coloured shots of the Grand Canyon and Keir Dullea's eye, then call it the best part of the movie! I stand by my opinion that Kubrick was high on something at the time.

That's my rant. Thank you for your patience.

Red face 2001

This truly was a waste of film-with the exception of the sub-story on Discovery. Too much of a mish-mash of ideas and concepts. Rather than inspire awe toward space, Kubrick makes me feel that it is likely dull or perhaps psychadelic.
