Re: prequel

Everybody knows the problem - BTTF 4 won't be good unless MJfox is in it. So, number 4 goes down the drain. BUT - how about a prequel? There's a site that has a prequel story, soo........ how about it? who's with me? Pleeaase send a reply. I want to know what people think. PLEASE!

plus, i'm pretty certain that MJFox is to ill to take on a job like that. It's so ****ing depressing that he's sick, i try not to think about it... he is such a good actor.

Re: prequel

I don't know why Doc invented the Time Train. Maybe he just wanted to give Marty the pic of him and Doc at the clock, and to see if Marty destroyed the delorean or not.

Re: prequel

Possible SEQUEL could dwell upon Doc and Martha having their kids grown up to say 17 and 16 (Just like Marti was in the original), and testing the time machine again. They can cast good young and spirited actors and i belive it could work well.

Then something could go wrong (as usual) and the rest is history. BTW i think they can figure out the way to use Michal J Fox's voice. (Remember he was the voice of Milo in atlantis).

Re: prequel

Sons and daughters of "Doc"--that makes alot of sense--opens up new areas to go and fresh characters to work with. There would still be the link/history with Marty etc----no one should forget where the story started.

Re: prequel

Yes lets watch marty go to the third grade...doesn't sound like a good idea...

The Doc already said everything that happened...whats the point?

Nobody said that. What are you on about?? We are talking about Doc's children with Martha that coould be 16-17 in the Sequel. And that the possible forth installment should center around them.

Re: prequel

I just think that keeping the movies a trilogy would be the best for it...

Or they could screw it up royally and make a tv show about it. Is that what you all want?

Clara?? I thought it was Martha for some reason.

And I guess knowing all caracter names from BTTF by heart makes you a 200 IQ genius.

forget about part 4

I really don't understand why so many BTTF fans think it would be exciting to watch Doc and Clara and their kids travel through time. Will you guys just drop it already! Let's face it: the only people who remember Clara and her kids are us BTTF fans; nobody else cares. The only person I want to see in a delorean next to Doc is Marty, not his wife and kids. And nobody can play Marty but Michael J. Fox.
We need to realize that all good things must come to an end, because if people keep trying to stretch things out, they will start to get dull and boring. The prequel idea is an intriguing prospect, but there are two problems: there is no time-travel machine yet to have fun with, and we still would need the real Michael J. Fox; he's getting older, not younger. Like I said before, the upcoming DVD and a hopeful 20th anniversary re-release are all that us BTTF fans should wish for, because a prequel or sequel will only diminish the greatness of the movie franchise.
