The first BTTF is my all-time favorite film.

Re: BTTF1 or BTTF2?

I liked the first one the best. The second one was okay, but the real enjoyable part for me was seeing how it overlapped the first one. It didn't have much replay value for me though, as it was almost like watching the same one twice.

The third was pretty good, too. It was a nice change of pace after 1 and 2. The series should have just stopped at the first one, though.

By far I enjoyed the second one more than the first, because it gives you a concept of what the future would be like, and it just seemed more like a plot rather than the first one which is basically giving you the background information...

I myself have always been sort of a fan of the background information! -- I love charecter development, and my views are actually rather similar towards ghostbusters... But for some reason, I can't really think of any prequals that i like

See now that's where we differ... raher than having the background given to me... I like to figure it out as the plot unfolds... it just makes the movie more enjoyable in my opinion

I also like the second because of it's story. the first one will always be great but BTT2 I think is the most underrated movie of the serise

Re: BTTF1 or BTTF2?

the oringinal is the best because its not really a sci fi, film, well it is, but the sci fi isnt used too much, the second is my least favourite becauseit trys to prodict the fucture and has quite a lot of sci fi holding the story together. the third come quite close to the first because its more or less the same basic plot (marty goes back in times, gets stuck there doc helps him get back)

Re: BTTF1 or BTTF2?

I still like the second the best. It must have to do with the hover cars and such.

When I was a kid, I preferred part 2, part after a while I developed a favour towards the first back to the future

I like the second one, because even though they predicted the future, it wasn't WAY to over the top like most movies where they do that....just a little....
