Re: The Chillingly Terrifying Sciflicks Movie of the Night ...
Zombiwata:
HAHAHAHAHAHA!! *And then he is run over by an 18-wheeler driven by Phlub and Ramses.* Phlub: Whoops. Nex: (sigh) Can we go home now? Phlub: Hey guys, you looking for a ride? Seraph: Oh God yes!! *Seraph immediately leaps into the 18-wheeler.* Seraph: Take me to the nearest pub. Now. *The rest of the team get in the van, which drives off into the sunrise...* Nex: (off-screen) Finally, the sun has risen. This has been a looong night. *The camera films the 18-wheeler driving off into the distance...* Splend: (off-screen) Didn't that cop say something about chasing an 18-wheeler...? Sharky: (off-screen) I heard they were a couple of murderers. Phlub: (off-screen) Oh, don't worry - we came across those guys and killed 'em ourselves with our bare hands. That's what the cops are chasing us for. Splend: (off-screen) Oh good. *The van has now vanished into the distance. The terrors of Innsmouth is now over. The camera slowly zooms out, and we see a large hole in the ground where Great Ku'unt was trying to escape. A few seconds later, we see two evil green eyes open... *Fade out. End credits.* |

Ya know, when I ran myself over by an 18-wheeler I was trying to give a sense of finality to the character. I never thought you guys would pick it up. But hey, have fun.

Re: The Chillingly Terrifying Sciflicks Movie of the Night ...
I think that this is the best non-Nexicks movie thread we ever did. It felt less like a bunch of guys posting on a forum and was close to feeling like a proper film - very few continuity errors (and the ones that were there, were wrapped up well), a slow build-up and an explosive climax. I thought it was awesome.

It is great yeah but I feel the ending is kinda rushed on or something... I am for a sequel too.

I too feel a tremendous sense of loss now that it's over. Sign me up for a sequel.
