David Bowie, as if it needed saying, is an odd bird alright. Terrific film, but Bales woeful accent was a little distracting. Nice steampunky stuff going on though and I really didn't think it was as confusing as reviewers would have you believe.

Didn't read any reviews of this before putting down the money and was only sold on the fact that it had Hugh Jackman. Can't see how the reviewers out there would have had a problem with the plot and story unless they were the kind of people to eat their food with their backs turned to the screen.

I actually felt a little sunkened after walking out, a little depressed I must say. It was all that movie on there on the screen and watching these two duke it out to the conclusion.

Ah, the depressing nature of futile obsession. Fun, but can be a tad bleak.

Even bleaker if you read the book and realise that the feud actually affects further generations - though it's a slightly different (if essentially the same) story than the film's.

coolest part was where they found the pile of hats out side after the machine made a second cat it was a werid film but where did the second cat come from??.
