Re: Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure
Defenders of the Earth
Even found the lyrics to the theme tune on google! Defenders of The Earth. Defenders. Out of the sky, his rockets ignite, jets into battle flying faster than light. Flash Gordon. Lord of the Jungle, the hero who stalks the beast call him brother. The ghost who walks. Phantom. Defenders of The Earth. Master of magic spells and illusion. Enemies crumble in fear and confusion. Mandrake. Defenders of The Earth. His strength is a legend, his skill conquers all. On with his power we never will fall. Lothar. Defenders of the Earth. With our new young heroes proving their worth, four become eight, defending (courtesy of http://www.cfhf.net/lyrics/) |

Re: Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure
He-Man, not gay. Skeletor on the other hand, makes me wonder. At least the original incarnation. The 2002 version of Skeletor was definitely not fruity and he was bad ass.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. He's either gay, or he's shagging the cat. I'd accept either, but not both. When would he get anything done? (He was a bit gay though, wasn't he? There's an uncanny resemblance to Rocky from the Rocky Horror Picture Show...) Bill and Ted... I know it's stupid, and I can't help grinning like a fool. And I kinda liked the cartoon too. Cartoon!Ted was more convincing. |

He-Man was always a kinky show. Even the names were kinky - like Whiplash, Ram-Man and Fisto.

Bill and Ted... emmm.... Bill and Ted.... Rufus was cool! Here, why were the robots built by the divine being whatevers less convincing than Evil Bill and Evil Ted? |

Re: Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure
I have to say, I'm quite sure that He-Man is not gay. Watch how Adam and He-Man are always checking Teela out. Watching Season 1 Volume 2 these past couple days, and it's amazing how many times you see Adam/He-Man checking Teela out while she's not looking.
And yes, Fisto was one the names, though Mattel supposedly lost the name rights to it when they started doing the 2002 cartoon, so he turned into Battle Fist. So I'm curious who ended up with the rights to 'Fisto'. ![]() |

Re: Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure
Ah, Lost Boys...because of Winter's inclusion of that film, you notice how poorly developed the characters in the gang are. The only vampire that stood out was Kiefer Sutherland's character. Since Winter was the only other actor I recognised, I kept looking at him, and that's when I realised that he had so few lines in the film, which means that so did everybody else in the gang. Still a great film though.
