Hey, I've heard of this movie but I've not seen it. It's a John Carpenter flick, right? By the sound of the title is it about some kind of alien?

There's an alien who turns into humans body and starts to act like this. It's also a love story. Read more: Starman.

Didn't like it very much. I kept waiting when Bowie starts to sing Starman but the moment never came.

I thought it was quite good, but I only saw bits of it. I was on the computer at the time.

Re: The First Post!

i have perfected focusing on both the computer, and the TV at the same time... it just takes a certain amount of "knowing what parts are pivital, and what isn't worthy of your full attention. Usuallly the times when you should be watching is when there is a loud noise, or a sudden change in pace to the music...

for example, if you were only half watching JAWS, you would know to turn around, and pay attention when you heard the, "duh-dun, duh-dun, DUH-DUN, DUH-DUN!"
it's everyday life for me...

The film isn't crap but it is highly romanticised. We get to see Jeff Bridges/ alien learning how to walk and talk--and trying to return home. a bit of a road movie. a family film.

I have just seen this film recently, and I must say that it is not that bad .

Sort of like "K-Pax" mixed with "Close encounters" finale.

3.0 / 5 Stars

That's why I get confused. I saw this when I was kinda young, yet 50% of the time replace Jeff Bridges in my head with Bowie.
