Question Missing last scene lines???

I saw this movie with a friend years ago, when it first came out. When we saw the movie again on TV, about ten years later, we both noticed that the last scene was different and that there were lines missing. On TV, the last scene shows Thorn's upraised, bloody hand, as he tells everyone in the church that Soylent Green is people. However, the scene my friend and I remember is a little different. After Thorn's last line, the new priest in the church turns to the nun and says something. I am not going to repeat the line here because it is quite controversial in content and may offend some people. I am just trying to find out if any old farts like myself, who saw this movie when it first came out also remember these missing last lines. If you do, let me know by posting a reply to this message. PS, I also want to know if they used colored graham crackers as the Soylent wafers.

Talking Missing Lines - A puzzler

Now that is a good question. I've loved this movie since I saw it when I first saw it in gradeschool. Yes... that was a while ago... but any movie which can inspire comedic lines like "Chicken McNuggets are made from PEOPLE!" deserves to be heralded as a classic!

Now, I have an older LD pressing of the movie (from about 10 years ago I think) and the ending is like was described... I don't recall the Priest and Nun conversation, but don't doubt it was in there in the original.

If anyone can shed some light on this, I would like to know as well!
