Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows
The trailer seems to indicate a pretty good ending to the series.

Re: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows
Wow - are we at the end already? For some reason it just doesn't seem right. I'm no fan of Harry Potter but there's are obvious comparisons to other beloved SF/Fantasy franchises like LOTR and Narnia - both of which took years or decades to slowly build their massive followings, both of which seemed to patiently wait for the advent of the necessary technology to bring either to live action film. In what, less than a decade, Harry Potter will have come and gone - this Twilight Vampire saga even quicker. It makes one wonder if Harry Potter or Twilight will even be in print in another 20 years or simply replaced and forgotten by an endless stream of the "next big thing."

Re: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows
Unlike beloved fantasy classics such as Narnia, LOTR, Earthsea and His Dark Materials, Harry Potter and Twilight are complete and utter bollocks.

Re: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows
No way man, Harry Potter is immortal! Twilight is just a fad, i think HP will last forever.
The trailer was awesome and i'm a huge HP fan. |

That's probably the best line I've heard in a very long time. I'll happily watch Harry Potter, but I'm certainly not going to the cinema to see it, I think I can manage to wait for the dvd. |
