Re: Plot

I wonder. Does Sciflicks front page have synopses of these projected films? They should, because this one sounds pretty interesting.

Maybe they can drink their own rehydrated piss like the Freemen do? Best get to creating the stillsuits.

Re: Plot

Paani? Don't know why, but it sounds like a type of bread to me

This sounds like a reverse Waterworld ... IMDB seems to think it'll come out next year ... but ... no other details! Interesting.

Re: Plot

Could also be a naff tv movie, nada their to gain much from.

Huh having had a nosey around, there's a possibly that it's either Bollywood (that'd be a first) or cancelled.

Ahh here we go, from the horse's mouth: http://www.shekharkapur.com/blog/arc...y_films/paani/

Paani means Water in Hindi.

edit: It's got a $20mil budget (biggest bollywood ever) and will be done simulataenously in English & Hindi, ah so despite actually dealing with real issues and being set in the future (far cry for Bollywood) it will be doing the usual song and dance with a Romeo & Juliet love story. http://www.femalefirst.co.uk/entertainment/3642004.htm
