Thumbs down A Sound Of Thunder

Just saw the trailer - step on a butterfly, you get CGI monsters. Typical.

Re: Typical, fu*king stupid Hollywood adaptation

I think I heaped bile upon this trailer in a thread before ...

One of my favourite scifi stories EVER, and I don't want to watch the film adaptation. Either I'm mad or I'm turning into an elitist. But still ... CGI mutants

It's neither. I've found myself making similar decisions before, but that does not make me an elitist! Oh, stop laughing.

I saw this.

It had some cool effects, but the story was crap.

Really, really bad.

Still not seen it, don't want to. I'd rather not know how they managed to squeeze zombies and monsters in the plot...but maybe a little out of morbid curiosity...no. No, I don't. Or do I...?

Please don't tell me.

I just looked up the movie's page on IMDb. It got a 3.9/10. Yay! It also has the most ridiculous tagline ever...Evolve or Die.

Apparently there will be a new adaptation of Farenheit 451 next year. Let's hope it doesn't turn out the same way.

Only watch it if you get it for free Nexus. The concept of the story is good but the TV grade CGI really ruined the movie. The Dinosaur they "Hunt" if that's what it was was pathetic, Ray Harryhousen did better Dinosaurs.

I've seen this in Blockbuster for 2 pounds.

And I'm STILL not watching it.
