Glasses help highlight a person's eyes, which is one (well, technically two, since there are two eyes) of the major tools we use to express ourselves non-verbally.

Here are just a few guys that look cute with glasses;

1.) Robin Williams in Flubber
2.) Citan from Xenogears
3.) William Christoper and Gary Burgoff from M*A*S*H, the television series (they played Father Mulcahy and Radar)
4.) Donald Sutherland from MASH, the movie (he played Hawkeye....I think.) And I think he was in a Sci-Fi movie about robots taking over a ship of people, but I'm not sure.

7) Jerry Lewis from The Absent-minded Professer

For the girls... if you fancied a bloke and put glasses on him, you'd still fancy the pants off him right? It doesn't matter if a guy wears glasses or not, if you fancy him you fancy him. It's behind the glasses that count anyway.

Also for the girls... do you like a man with facial hair? I know most girls don't but I do! Especially a goatee and stubble over good bone structure. An example of this is Alex in Big Brother 3 (UK)... that kind. Niiicceee! *dribbles* oops!

Glasses are OK. I look mostly the hair. I love curly hair. But also long... Kevin Bacon has usually cute hairdo. And of course Bowie too... (Isn't that a cute pic?)

Well... I have BOTH! (and no glasses )
I have been given this advice over and over again though: "shave and get a haircut, and you will be that much closer to being atractive to women." Fools! I knew that I would find beautiful and intelegent girls who would go for my 'look'. But alas none in a 500 mile radius

C'est la vie!

I sometimes have facial hair Jenny. I had that European thing going a little while back on my chin. It was like Travolta's in "Swordfish." Some liked it, some didn't. I had a goatee about a year ago and no complaints, it just got itchy.

That is true, Jenny, but I find that glasses help me tune into the trueself of the person behind the glasses. See, as I said before, glasses help highlight a person's eyes and the eyes are like portals to the soul, if you know how to read them. (I know that sounds kinda corny, but it's true.) We're not used to looking people right in the eyes, or having some one look us right in the eyes, so we try to avoid it. But it's a great way to get a peck into a person's self.

Of course, the main purpose for glasses is to correct a person's vision problem; that's why I wear them and why my friends wear them. But since glasses are not a natural occurance on our faces it draws people to our eyes which may or may not trigger a person to take the time to read them.

Re: Guys with Glasses poll (girls only poll)

It depends on the face. Some guys' (and girls') faces are complimented by them, but on others glasses are out of place.
