Finally, a logical plot

on how any invasion would occur. It makes so much sense to gradually teraform a planet where so many of its governors prostitute the natural resources and obliterate species by the dozens, kill and destroy the quality of life for humans with little if any felt consequences.

This is the perfect movie and it is beautifully developed for those of us who don't have to add water and mix everything. It is for those who can think and enjoy the intelligent plot.

Great job and Charlie Sheen is perfect as the paranoid hero.

I would agree that it is very logical. Much more probable then a straight out invasion.

If an invasion of aliens was going to occur it will be most likely that they were in it for the resources. What better way to drive us out then by making us belive that our planet can't support us.

Re: Finally, a logical plot

why would aliens want to invade earth? I can see the resources thing being a problem for advanced civilizations, but why earth? I the majority of resources found on earth are plentiful even in our own solar system, let alone the countless others in the vastness of space.

Maybe we have something very rare here and thatís why these aliens keep trying to invade, they seem very interested in cows, perhaps thatís it? or maybe we are part of some kind of intergalactic game show where budding alien races have to try and invade earth, kind like a reality TV show - 'Iím a puny human invade my planet'

Oh something vaguely on topic here, is this the film with the funny backward bending leg aliens?, if it is there is a scene where Sheen has broken into their base (the aliens) and he is pretending to be one, he gets in a lift and there is an alien in it with him. The alien starts talking to sheen in its mother tongue (sounds kinda like r2d2) and sheen has to pretend to understand (i think the alien twigs and alarms are set off, i think! been a while) what i would have done is said to the alien, 'no I mustnít speak in our language I'm deep undercover and if I slip back into our language I might reveal my self to the humans' or some bs along those lines, I think he would have got away with that.

Yeah that one is a funny scene. It goes something like this:

Alien Guy and Sheen undercover on the Elevator.

Alien Guy: Shaloiuksadddh&^%&.

Sheen: (Nods)

Alien Guy: Shakouchsy kadakasa!

Sheen: (Wispers to his ear): Do you want to see the ruins my friend. ( Pushes him of the elevator into the abyss)
