Re: Near good

Not the best movie I've ever seen But I thought it was okay. I did remind me of Mad Max but...

I think the best part was when they showed the bad guys bout. I started laughing. If you don't remember yourself. It had tons of holes in it but the funny part is it was the exon valdez. You know that oil ship that sunk off of Alaska. Ha, Ha that was great.

I give this movie a 6.5
It tried but wasn't quite there.

Re: Near good

Actually Waterworld made over 180 million world wide when totals from ticket sales were added to VHS sales and rentals, which was an 80 million dollar profit that made it fairly succesfull. What killed me about this movie was the way critics panned it based on the fact that it went over budget before the movie was ever released. They did the same thing with Titanic and ended up looking like a bunch of idiots when it became the highest grossing film ever and won a ton of Oscars. I still haven't seen Titanic. I hear the drawing scene with the most viewable Kate Winslett is well worth the viewing, even at 3 hours plus.

Red face There was "Ick!" in "Titanic"

Hehe if you ask me, Titanic is only worth watching if you have a three hour supply of pop corn :P

Not even then. I just can't understand how anybody can watch DiCaprio 3 hours (...in Gilbert Grape he was OK...).
