Escape From New York is one of my favorite Sci-Fi movies of alltime. Her are my top 5 favorite JC movies

1. Escape from New York
2. Halloween
3. The Thing
4. The Fog

I saw that a long long time ago, that actually had the same guy from Big Trouble In Little China, forgot his name...

It had a couple of people from it.

"Prince Of Darkness", "They Live", and another one which i love, "Christine", are probably his forgotten GOOD films.

That's right. I picked up 'Christine' a few months ago. I haven't seen anything recent from him at all. Seems like his older stuff was more sci-fi and action(except Halloween and Prince of Darkness), and his newer movies are more horror (Vampires).
He made another film before Halloween that was low-budget horror, and probably a couple others...

E.F.N.Y has to be my all time favorite movie. L.A. should never have been made, what a travesty! Anyone out there have any cool efny memorabilia????

John did some great movies in the 80s. The Thing, Big Trouble in Little China, They Live, etc...

I'd say the Thing is the best movie of all time... and that would make it his best film too, wouldn't it? That was hard for me.

most part of carpenter's movies are splondid , like
the thing , christin ,vampire ,they live ,.....!carpenter is the best !
