Fire & Ice (1983).
Who else liked this fantastic underrated animated fantasy? it's set in the barbarian ages where two realms are at war and the evil Nekron kidnaps the lovely daughter of the Fire realm, two warriors must save her and stop the war.
A stylish and action packed animated movie in the tradition of "Rock & Rule", "Heavy Metal", "The Dark Crystal", "Conan", "Willow", "The Secret of NIMH", "The Last Unicorn", and "Lord of the Rings"! i highly recommend it and that Teegra is quite a sizzling toon chick. |

Fire and Ice
I was fortunate in finding this at the Wiz about 10 years ago on VHS...
what attracted me to it was the combination of Ralph Bakshi animation and Frank Frazetta artwork... That enough said - this film is in NO WAY a disappointment... visually stunning, with classic fantasy storyline, you will almost forget you are watching a cartoon... if you can find it, GET IT!!! |
