Re: The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
It sucks that Andrew Adamson is not directing this installment. It also sucks that Walden/Disney have said they have no plans to continue the series after this installment.

Thankfully, Fox picked it up after Disney dumped it, so perhaps if it does well, it'll continue to the next book.

Re: The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
The trailer is quite inspiring, though it kind of gives away the ending. I have to admit this movie was seriously off my radar until this excellent trailer popped up. Easily the best book of the series imho, perhaps second only to The Last Battle.
I wonder if there are any plans to film more books in the series and if so, which ones? Since both A Horse and His Boy and The Magicians Nephew are outside of the main timeline, maybe this film will do well enough to allow them to make The Silver Chair and The Last Battle with these original actors. |
