Re: My top 39 fantasy movies.

Fantasy Movies - short list. And a great many of your films are Science Fiction - not Fantasy (Dark City, Batman, etc.)

BTW - all LOTR films listed are the DVD extended edition

6. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
5. Excalibur
4. The Princess Bride
3. The Return of the King
2. The Fellowship of the Ring
1. The Two Towers

I have not seen Pan's Labrynth but have assured it will easily earn a spot in my top five, or six.

Sith, have you seen Order of the Phoenix yet? Figured maybe that it would supplant GOF.

I have not seen Phoenix yet. Will probably see it when it's out on DVD. I've liked all the films thusfar (have not read any of the books, don't intend to) but felt like GOF brought the series to a more serious level. I guess it was the re-embodiment of Voldemort maybe.
