Re: bad sci fi sequal's

Its cause the Terminator was such a badass evil thing, and some people took it a little hard that he went from being out to kill Sarah Connor to protecting John Connor. A big switch. But still great.

Re: bad sci fi sequal's

So own up, which ******* voted for it eh? Him and me are gonna have words! I can see the argument for leaving the series at only one film though. It changed sub-genres. Instead of being Sci-Fi Horror, T2 was Sci-Fi Action. It lost the techno-noir status from the first one. But yeah it's still one of the greatest films of all time.

A word on BTTF3. It was made alongside BTTF 2, the same way as Superman 1 and 2 and the LOTR films so I don't think you can actually count it as a seperate sequel.

Didn't much care for Alien Resurrection but I liked Alien 3. I too have read the paperbacks and they aren't a bad read.

I've never seen a Highlander sequel because I love the first one so much I'm scared they will ruin it. Fortress 2 was a big disappointment as I'm a huge fan of the original (note the amazing Christopher Lambert link between highlander and Fortress I just made )
