Oh yeah, so Spiderman?

Is Peter Parker.

Very interesting, but now the bad guys know who he is and can get to the people that he is close to.

Parker's conflict over his secret identity has always been at the core of the story. Spiderman outing himself is an interesting idea for a story, but I can't help think it'll hobble the writers later on.

I guess it was inevitable - no one can keep a secret that big forever. Though as Jill said, it'll probably give the writers some frustrating problems sooner or later.

I don't read them, so it doesn't bother me

I like this new Civil War storyline. It's another attempt to make super-heroes just a bit more realistic. Like, for example, the fact that the most noticeable response to Parker's "unveiling" was Jameson suing him for the photos he took of Spiderman all these years.

and if it does cause problems they'll either retcon it, or more likley, move it to a parrallel universe.
