new time machine

I just wanted to know everyone's opinion on which modern-day sports car would be the best replacement for the delorean time machine. I personally think that the Lotus espirit would make a fine time machine.

2002 Hummer, becouse you never know where Biff is larking, or a 2002 Chrisler PT Cruiser if youre going to build a time Machine you have to go in style.

A fridge? that's like Doctor Who's phone booth with air conditioning! But seriously? One of those spiffy little scooters!

New Delorean

On second thought, I think the best modern-day substitute for the time-travelling Delorean would be the 1993 Vector W8. Okay, so its almost 10 years old, but it looks really cool, like a Delorean crossed with a Lamborghini. Plus, it is one of the fastest production vehicles ever made. Check out the pic at http://peter78ba.host.sk/car3/vector-wiegert-w8-03.jpg
and tell me what you think.

--Oh and by the way, apparently the BTTF creators threw out the fridge idea because they thought that kids might try to shut themselves inside their home fridge and get locked in. (They didn't have magnetic doors back then). Thank God they changed their minds about the fridge idea!

One of those electric carts old people drive around in (by the time you reach 88, you will be 30 years in the future).

My car of choice...

I think I'd go with the classic stretch limo.

Not only could it house a fridge for beverages & therefore keep within the spirit of the original concept of the time travelling vessel, but it could be so long that it could encompass several time zones at once

Of course I'd have to hang out at a lot of movie premieres in LA to stop it from looking conspicuous...

*Not Very Evil Scientist*

- The way I see it, if you're going to build a time machine into a car, you ought to do it with a little style -
