Pilot's Mess [chit-chat zone]

This is the forum to get to know your fellow pilots and the ONLY place to talk about everything else not really relevant to sci-fi movies, including your personal loves and interests. A true pilot doesn't discuss these issues while on duty.

Nope.

The ones I bought have the choice between the original japanese with english subtitles or the dubbed english version.

Which to me is the same as having no choice but the original version.

Anyways, I went ot the vid store yesterday... But I found nothing there worth the price they wanted. I may have to go to Heidelberg or Mainz for a bigger selection.

Absolutelly. I hate dubs in any shape, size or format, regardless of the language.

I'm lucky enough to live in one of the few European countries that uses subtitles rather than dubbing.

Except for "Bananas", which I liked a lot, I could never really find any of his movies even slightly amusing.

And his Jazz band sucks to boot.

Hey, I was in the mood for ancient history.

Besides, I've yet to give "King Arthur" and "Troy" their 2nd viewing/chance.
